Teriyaki Chicken Drummers with White Rice & Stir Fried Veggies

Hello gorgeous!! Those are some lovely legs. Easy dish to make, if you don't like teriyaki you can definitely use a different type of marinade.

Teriyaki Chicken Drummers
  • Chicken leg drumsticks
  • Enough marinade to cover the legs
  • White rice
  • Stir fried vegetables
  • Vegetable oil
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Hot pepper flakes
  • salt + pepper
First off, you need to marinate your legs in a plastic bag for a few hours. I did mine overnight, so almost a full 24 hours. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees, place the legs on a baking sheet, glass casserole dish, or whatever you have! Generously season with black pepper, make a foil tent, and bake for 20 minutes. Take out, flip over the legs, replace foil tent, and cook another 10 minutes. Take out of oven and throw away the foil, flip the legs one more time and continue to cook until darkened and crispy (another 8-12 minutes). Rice and veggies were easy for me. I love the Steamfresh brand of white rice with vegetables. It takes four minutes in the microwave, and you have white rice with a full serving of veggies. Yes please! For the vegetables, I preheated a non-stick pan and coated it with vegetable oil. When it was super hot I threw in a frozen stir fry vegetable mix, and added in additional garlic, edamame, sweet corn, ginger, hot pepper flakes, and salt and pepper. Plate it up and enjoy!
